At Shore Toyota, we are dedicated to keeping drivers in the Atlantic City & Vineland, NJ area abreast of the latest brand news on our blog from new models to awards and sales figures. However, today we are going in a bit of a different direction as we have just learned what the Japanese automaker has planned over the next three years, and we know you're super curious to find out all of the details.

Automotive News has recently released a report sharing all of the specifics for a series of redesigns and new Toyota models that will come from the Japanese automaker over the course of the next three years.

When we take a look into the compact segment, we are already expecting the arrival of the 2014 Toyota Corolla in our Mays Landing, NJ showroom this fall. There are also rumors that in 2015, the Yaris will cease to exist and a Mazda2 based models will take its place.

The Toyota brand has long been an innovator when it comes to being green and developing EVs and hybrid vehicles and will continue this legacy with the addition of a Prius liftback with a souped up new powertrain arriving in the early months of 2015. A hydrogen powered HFC model is also expected to arrive at the same time.

For the medium and large segments, we can expect to see the Toyota Camry undergo an overhaul in 2014 while the Avalon will see little action as it was just barely given a renovation.

Other models that will be receiving some updates are the RAV4, which could get the brand's 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine, and the Tacoma and Sequoia are also candidates for refreshes.

If you're interested any of the current models mentioned above, simply visit Shore Toyota at 4236 Black Horse Pike to learn more. Our team of experts would be happy to highlight features, answer questions and arrange test drives in any of our new or used cars.
