If you've managed to avoid it over the past month somehow, people all over the country are doing the Ice Bucket Challenge, which is exactly what it sounds like and helps get donations to the ALS Association. ALS, also known as "Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a disease that affects the brain and spinal cord, deteriorating motor control. So, as a way to get people involved in donating to research on cure, the ice bucket challenge was born!
