The all-new 2017 Prius Prime made its North American debut last month at the New York International Auto Show in Manhattan. While you will have to wait until its fall 2016 release to test drive the latest-generation plug-in hybrid, we have culled its key features and details to hold you over in the meantime.
The plug-in hybrid took the stage at the NYIAS, showcasing a futuristic exterior and a larger battery pack than the first-generation plug-in hybrid. We're still waiting on an official EPA rating, but Toyota anticipates 120 MPGe and up to 22 miles of pure electric driving. Inside, the Prius Prime features a four-seat layout -- delivering ample space for your passengers -- an 11.6-inch multimedia screen with standard navigation and Qi wireless charging. On the exterior the Prius equips expressive LED lighting, updated fascia and a redesigned bumper.
